Legislator Photo Request

 

The Legislative Assembly holds the copyright for legislator photos. A legislator photo is available for use only in articles and publications related to the legislator's service as a legislator. North Dakota Century Code Section 16.1-10-02 prohibits the use of a requested photo for political purposes. Photos may NOT be used for nonlegislative boards, commissions, or memberships, campaigns, or for personal use.

 

To request legislator photos, please fill out the form below. Requests will be processed within 2 business days.

 

Photos used in print media will be provided in the following size:
3 x 3.75 inches (900 x 1125 pixels); 300 dpi

 

Photos used for broadcast and Internet (digital) media will be provided in the following size:
512 x 640 pixels; 144ppi

 

You must agree to terms of use below. Failure to agree will result in denial of the request.

I agree photos printed in publications will not exceed 3 x 5 inches and photos used online may not exceed 144 ppi. Note: Photos may be cropped to fit layouts that conform with the listed limitations.
I understand the North Dakota Legislative Assembly holds the copyright for the photos and the photos may only be used for legislative business.
I agree the photo(s) WILL NOT be used for:
Nonlegislative boards
Nonlegislative commissions
Nonlegislative memberships
Campaigning
Personal use
I agree I will not alter or distribute the photos outside the terms of this agreement.
I understand the use of the photos is through the remainder of this interim (November 30 of even-numbered years) and is thereafter invalid. I will have to submit a new form for the new photos available at the beginning of the next legislative session.
