During the 2017-18 interim, the Justice Reinvestment Oversight Committee is required to study the implementation of justice reinvestment policies in the state and periodically report to the Legislative Management. Under 2017 Senate Bill No. 2015, § 14, the Majority Leader of the House of Representatives appoints one member of the House of Representatives and the Majority Leader of the Senate appoints one member of the Senate to the committee.
