ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2025 LEGISLATIVE SESSION
Internship duration - January through April 2025
Job Description:
- Assist the Sergeant-at-Arms, legislators, and guests
- Maintain order in the Senate/House Chamber
- Escort guests and media to the floor
- Notify legislators of visitors requesting to speak with them
- Enforce rules of decorum in House/Senate Chamber
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Political science, pre-law, law enforcement, or other applicable major
- A willingness to learn
- Availability to work various shifts as needed
- Remain objective and nonpartisan
