The October 2023 Special Session has been called by the Governor pursuant to Section 7 of Article V of the Constitution of North Dakota for purposes of considering legislation to implement the invalidated provisions of Senate Bill No. 2015 (2023) following the North Dakota Supreme Court decision in Board of Trustees of The North Dakota Public Employees' Retirement System v. North Dakota Legislative Assembly, and for other purposes as determined by the Legislative Assembly.
