A concurrent resolution for the amendment of sections 7, 9, and 13 of article VI of the
Constitution of North Dakota, relating to the appointment and election of supreme court
justices and district court judges; and to provide an effective date.
STATEMENT OF INTENT
This amendment provides for the appointment by the governor of supreme court justices and
district court judges and establishes a procedure for the election of incumbent justices and
judges and for filling vacancies.
